Synopsis:
During their nightly robbery of a gas station, the friendship of Bee, Sunny and Coach is put to the test. When Bee is shot and the seemingly safe plan threatens to fail, every second counts. While Coach drives with the two to the safe house, the situation in their getaway car becomes more and more tense and the three friends show their true colours.
With this film, I want to take a closer look at the darker side of love and the destructive effects it has on those who desperately chase it but end up sinking into envy.
The story is told mainly from inside the getaway car after a failed robbery, forcing the protagonists to accelerate developments and leading to intense conflict. Nerves are on edge and it remains unclear which decision will be the right one. My goal was to capture the oppressive confinement of the car's interior while the characters' emotions take over and fill the small interior of the vehicle with tension. Although the protagonists are inside an escape car, the irony is that they cannot escape themselves. Each has to face their own feelings. No one is able to get out.
